In the spirit of our wonderful knitting community….
Some of our wonderful Ambah’s Festive KAL knitting community have generously offered up excess Festive/Advent kits as a gift to those who may not be able to purchase one this year.
How absolutely wonderful.
I have two Kits, 1 wrapped and 1 unwrapped, each purchased by me over the years and both gorgeous, I just haven’t got around to using them and collect a couple each year. So I’ll start by adding those to the collective pool.
I’ll also gift all donors & recipients with a pattern code good for any of the 2021 Festive KAL eligible patterns.
HOW THIS WILL WORK
Either offer or request a gift kit as per instructions below. I’ll match offers to requests and connect the recipient with the donor.
Deadline: October 31, 2021. To enable enough time for the kits to travel in time for the November 28 cast on. To be honest, with the way shipping is worldwide at the moment it is quite possible there still may be kits arriving late.
OFFER A KIT
Send me an email to ambah at ambah dot com dot au with the following details:
- Message header: Gift Offer
- Picture/description of kit (colours, number of minis etc)
- Where you are willing to post to. (If you have a spare kit but really can’t cover postage let me know)
- e-mail address & Ravelry user name if applicable
REQUEST A KIT
Email me at ambah at ambah dot com dot au if you’re in a place this year where you could really use the kindness of a gift of a Yarn kit for the Festive KAL. Please include the following details:
- Message header: Gift Request
- Colour preferences (likes/ dislikes)
- OK with a 12 colour set or other Kit option
- Location
- e-mail address & Ravelry user name if applicable
Recipients will be kept anonymous, except to myself and the gift donor, unless they choose to mention it in the KAL.
