Today's #FridayFeatured50 pattern is the Sherbet Fizz Shawl, a sweet treat to enjoy for the Easter season!

Sherbet Fizz is a confection of shawls that prove to be more-ish knitting. Choose between the small or large in fingering weight, DK or super chunky (SC) versions, and knit up a lightweight shawl that will be a delight to throw on for a touch of warmth on cooler days. Simple lace alternating with garter rows keeps it interesting and not too challenging — perfect for a first time lace knitter. Pair the pattern with some delicious yarn and you’ll be binding off in no time!

💚Testers wanted 💚 for both the Heart-igan and Heart-over garments.
Both are knit in fingering weight yarn - wool or linen, making this a lovely warmer weather knit to wear. There are two length options to choose between; regular and Cropped (shown below) and 7 sizes for each

Designed to be worn with - 2 to + 2”/- 5 to + 5 cm ease at the bust with a .25”/.5 cm gap at the front. If you are between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit or size down for a more fitted look. See images for full measurements and yardages.

I have allowed 12 weeks for this test, with the pattern due to be published early July.

I’ll be running the test in my Ravelry group in two threads and, for those unable to use Ravelry, I’ll run it via e-mail as well.

Today's #FridayFeatured50 pattern is the Astria Shawl.

I published this 2 years ago and it seemed fitting to share it on it's anniversary.

The sloping curve commences from a centre cast on and radiates outward to create a crescent-shaped shawl that is easy to style in multiple ways, making this a wonderful accessory as well as a fun knit. The shawl is designed to make the most of a gorgeous gradient mini skein set.
The pattern also includes directions to work a striped version, which looks equally wonderful with two solid colours or a solid colour and a colour change yarn, or to use up all those leftovers to create your own stellar explosion.
The pattern includes a link to the Astria Shawl video tutorial as several techniques are used that may be new to you. The tutorial includes an overview of the project, includes casting on, picking up the edge stitches and blocking tips.
