A colourful addition to any wardrobe, the Party Cardy is relaxed and polished, dressy and comfortable to wear. Designed to make the most of a beautiful mini-skein set or use up leftovers from your stash. The drop shoulder construction makes it the perfect layer over a dress or on its own. It features dramatic, wide sleeves finished with a beautiful lace cuff. Wear it open or buttoned for a polished look. The cropped body is finished with a lace hem for even more elegance.
Colours are worked in even stripes, work these in a random colour order or choose a fade or a rainbow of colours to dress up any outfit or keep it simple with two colours or try a textural version alternating wool with kidsilk or Suri silk in the same colours.

Two US 5/3.75 mm long circular needles or size required to obtain stockinette gauge
One US4/3.5mm long circular needle and DPNs, or circular needles for small circumference knitting, or size required to obtain lace gauge
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, spare needle for 3 needle bind off, waste yarn or stitch holders (optional), needle stoppers (optional), 6 to 7 x 3/4”/19mm buttons to suit completed project.
GAUGE
24 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette st on larger needles, blocked
