Coral Coast Wrap

Happy New year!

Happy New Year! We made it to 2021.
I hope you’ve had a gentle entry into the new year – there is still much to overcome, but if nothing else we have certainly shown we are resilient and can do this.

As mentioned in my last post, I have many knitting adventures to share with you this year, first up is the Coral Coast Wrap. Pictured above. Designed for twelve 20g/80 yd mini skeins, Coral Coast was a 12 month subscription Shawl club in 2020 with Jimmy Beans.
Inspired by the beautiful Coral Coast in Western Australia, where rolling red desert dunes collide with a turquoise ocean teeming with colourful underwater characters, including the world’s largest fish, the whale shark. The Coral Coast Wrap is a knitted picture representing this stunning part of Australia. Textures and colours combine to create a striking wrap that will be a joy to knit and wear.

Now available in my Ravelry and Etsy stores, this is the perfect project for those Advent/Halfvent sets you have after December. Or for using up those partial skeins in your stash.
Perhaps you could create your own coastline variation, with colours that suit your part of the world.
Tag your projects with #CoralCoastWrap and #ambahobrien so I can find them and join us over in my Ravelry or Facebook groups to share with out communities there.

I have added The Coral Coast Wrap to my 2020 retrospective sale bundles on Ravelry and Etsy – all of my 2020 patterns are automatically 20% off through midnight January 10, 2021.

As always, I am here for you; send me a message if you have a question or just need a human to chat to. My groups are friendly, supportive places to be in and you are very welcome to join us.
