Recently I decided to make myself a new cardigan with some gorgeous yarn I had purchased and decided to use the opportunity to create a tutorial along the way. So many of you had been requesting a class on top-down raglan sweater construction and I thought a video would be the best way to show you. Filmed over a couple of weeks of knitting, this explains the process of knitting a top down garment with some technique tutorials along the way, including short rows, increases, picking up stitches and separating the sleeves and body. Using the Celestia Cardigan pattern as an example for this project, you can also apply the tutorial to a pullover. As a big fan of raglan sweaters, this tutorial will be relevant to may of my garment designs and knitting top down sweaters in general.
